Attention Exporters to Saudi Arabia:

According to the SASO notification, starting from July 30, 2023, for products corresponding to the customs codes listed in the table below, applicants must provide a declaration from the Ministry of Industry and Mining and obtain their approval when applying for a product certificate through the SABER system.    

If an applicant is unable to provide the approved declaration document from the Ministry of Industry and Mining to the certification body, the issuance of the product certificate will not be possible.

Following the notification issued on July 31, 2022, there have been updates to the customs codes for other controlled products that also need to comply with this regulation.    Specifically, the customs code for sunshades has been updated.    

The original customs code was 730890900002, and the updated customs code is now 560819009999.

Up to this point, for exports to Saudi Arabia, the following commodities corresponding to the customs codes must obtain approval from the Ministry of Industry and Mining before proceeding with the SABER certification process.
